This compilation (P) 2003 Mo Shic Shlomi (C) 2003 Mo
Shic Shlomi
Mo Shic re-defined House music with his unique
production skills, whenever you hear a Mo Shic tune
you simply know it's a Mo Shic tuneàhe created his
own sound envelope that is not to be mistaken with
anyone else. Mo Shic's music is unique; whether he's
rocking floors packed with clubbers across the globe,
or producing tracks in the studio, he always brings
the Mo Shic sound with him. It's a sense of darkness,
a rare intensityà This is clearly an artist with a
vision that goes beyond traditional ædance'
boundaries. Mo Shic is an uprising star, a writer,
producer & remixer that is making serious waves in
the int'l House scene. His various productions were
released in the past 2 years through some critically
acclaimed labels and with numerous chart entries
worldwide. With an outstanding track record to date,
a monthly residency in the famous TLV Club (Israel)
to gigs around the world in Zurich (Switzerland),
through Miami WMC and on to London's respected Turn
mills club, Mo Shic shortly became an attraction both
as a producer and a talented DJ. After a period of
two years in the making, Mo Shic was selected to
start a new series of editorial reviews for the
worldly renowned magazine û DJ Magazine UK. "World
Series" will be an in depth interview (2-4 pages)
that will be published in DJ Magazine's March 2003
issue, this will be accompanied by a giveaway free CD
made by Mo Shic especially for this purpose. This
event in March will boost the international awareness
to Mo Shic's skills even further, it is the first
time ever that such an influencia media outlet as DJ
Magazine is hand picking its new hero û Mo Shic.
Apart from recording & remixing under his personal
name, Mo Shic past recordings include various alias
production names: "Argonaut" ( www.cyberrecords.nl )
gave him his first international boost with a
multi-singles deal, then followed his collaboration
with DJ Zidan which led to the sensational success of
the "Mo Shic & Zidan" imprint (
www.plasticfantastic..co.uk ). Another interesting
collaboration was tested with DJ Rene Vidall as the
production team"Re:Mosh" this project included 2
singles only, one that was released through
"Reincarnation / One Little Indian UK", and the other
through Steller DC USA. Mo Shic is being heavily
supported by some of the world's leading DJ's, the
likes of Sasha, Carl Cox, John Digweed, Danny
Tenaglia, Nick Warren, Rui De Silva, Jimmy Van M,
Sander Klienenberg, Anthony Pappa, Steve Lawler and
many more who are big fans of Mo Shic's music. Some
of tracks were already included in various
compilations, Gatecrasher 8 compilation (Released
through InCredible/Sony UK), Jimmy Van M's
compilation for Bedrock, Armin Van Buren's new Mix
CD, Danny Howells Nocturnal Frequencies 3 on logic
Records/BMG, Nubreed 5 by Lee Burridge (Global
Underground) and recently Global Underground's new
project titled "Afterhours" and many moreà.
"Distorted Patterns" is a milestone in Mo Shic's
career, Make no mistakes here, this is not his debut
album, you are about to hear a groundbreaking
compilation combined from Mo Shic's favorite tunes at
the moment, from new and previously unreleased Mo
Shic tracks, to his recent remixes and special edits.
